Flagging Mobile Medical Unit in Bangalore
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd with SEED CSR as implementing partner flagged off the Mobile Medical Unit Programme under TKM CSR initiative. MMU initiative has been extending free medical services to wards where there is limited access to primary health care and caters to the economically weaker section. Aim of the program is to strengthen the PHC’s and making people aware and educated for better health.

The MMU programme will also focus on mass education to prevent the diseases through formation of Health Committees and engaging with Anganwadi and ASHA workers

On 31st August 2017, The Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Mr. Akito Tachibana visited the TKM – MMU Unit and had discussion with SEED CSR team to understand and provide his inputs for the MMU program.
Providing a well-deserved boost to the CSR Initiative, on the first day itself more than 50 Beneficiaries were given free medical check-up in the Mobile Medical Unit.
Mr. Akito also interacted with school children and Communities during the inauguration session
During the project phase, the MMU unit will be visiting the identified 10 villages, and will provide clinical examination, treatment and follow-up of patients, free of cost to all sections of the society. The unit will also screen the villagers for Curative Services, Reproductive & Health Services, Family Planning Services and will refer the cases to Primary Health Centre and Other Health Centres for confirmation of the diagnosis, provide treatment and will carry out follow ups in subsequent visits
